Reviews
Mr Freeman's very courteous and put me fully at ease.
Great care and communication for knee surgery, very grateful
Mr Freeman operated my right foot and he really changed the quality of my life. I had two unsuccessful surgeries before and was unable to find a specialist who would be willing to take on this challenge and help me with the ongoing pain. Mr Freeman did an amazing job with reconstructing my foot and the difference is unbelievable. I can live without pain and the shape of my foot has changed so much as well. Mr Freeman explained everything very well to me during the appointment prior to the surgery and took me through of what he is planning to do. I have a very minimal scaring, thanks to the technique that was used during the surgery. The pain after the surgery was minimal and the whole convalescence process was very smooth. Mr Freeman is an excellent and skilled surgeon and I would definitely recommend him to anyone considering surgery. He has been very kind and professional since our first appointments and listened to what I would like to achieve after the surgery.
Mr Freeman operated on my left foot to correct a painful bunion deformity, which had worsened over the years, and remove a ganglion on top of my foot.
After the operation my foot was bandaged and I was given a special shoe which allowed me to walk straight away. I left hospital the same day and rested at home for the next 2 weeks. I was able to hobble around the house and I was lucky enough to not be in any real pain. The wound healed quickly without any concerns.
I saw Mr Freeman after 2 weeks when he removed the bandages and I continued to wear the special boot for another 3 weeks. I was able to wear a normal boot after around 5 weeks and I saw Mr Freeman again 10 weeks after the operation where an X-ray confirmed that my operation had been a success.
Three months on and I have just returned to playing netball and I am able to walk long
distances without any pain. My toe, which had turned sideways due to the bunion, is now completely straight and the bunion has been corrected. I have good movement in my foot and can stand on tiptoe. I have very minimal scarring. I can now wear trainers
and Converse style shoes comfortably.
Mr Freeman is an excellent and skilled surgeon, and I would definitely recommend him to anyone considering foot and ankle surgery.
He worked around my schedule with holidays and university and we managed to get the two surgeries in place and the recovery sorted in good time and ensured I could come back and be seen again after a few months of recovery.
