A very friendly well run hospital.
Fantastic care, empathetic staff and felt well looked after.thank you
The nurses, doctors and all ancillary staff were absolutely helpful and friendly. If I had any needs or requests, they were always taken care of and all were absolutely professional in their work.
The Montefiore is a fabulous hospital. I had a large room to myself with an en-suite bathroom. It was immaculately clean and all the staff were welcoming and friendly and looked after me really well. My anaesthetist really put me at my ease and the nurses were so kind and helpful. My surgeon was amazing. The physiotherapists were fantastic. The food was delicious. I had a really great 2 night stay. Thank you!
Everyone I met was kind, caring and helpful with an enthusiasm to help in any and every way possible.
I good not have wished for better treatment.
Excellent care once you are their but totally dreadful communication. I was correctly discharged waiting the results of microbiology tests that would determine my antibiotics with the arrangement that I would be contacted on the Tuesday (these drugs were important for the treatment of a serious infection). No appointment was made, message were not returned and I had to go down to the hospital at 4pm to get to speak to anyone. Only then was I given a prescription but too late for any pharmacist to supply the medication for that night.
The antibiotics require me to have blood tests every 2 weeks. I have now had 2 sets of blood test and no results (second test was last Monday).
I had post operative nausea due to sodium low that lasted a couple of days. The staff could not have been kinder or more matter of fact about the problem. They never made me feel like I was being a nuisance. Once I returned home I had something I was a little concerned with and they were very reassuring.
No matter I wax an NHS patient I was treated with care and dignity.
It is superb!
I found the ever present medical care very reassuring, nothing was ever too much trouble to the nurses. The physiotherapist was very informative and helpful and allayed many of my fears about returning home feeling a little wobbly and armed with two crutches, but I needn't have worried, as everything I had been advised to do I did, and I have made amazing progress in a relatively short space of time. Mr Gibbs and Renee, his anaesthetist, were simply wonderful, I felt so safe in their care.
It may sound a little strange but I enjoyed my short stay at the Montefiore and emerged with a lovely new hip as well! Absolutely zero in the way of complaints, I just sing your praises to whoever will listen!
