Prof Nick Webborn

Profile

Experienced sport medicine practitioner with extensive experience working with national and international sporting organisations. Nick has published extensively in the areas of physical activity and health, sport for people with disabilities and general sports medicine topics including Achilles tendinopathy.

Nick also has wide experience in anti-doping and has been a member of the International Paralympic Committee's anti-doping subcommittee and is a chair of the UK Sport therapeutic use exemption committee. Nick has attended 8 Paralympic Games and was Chief Medical Officer for ParalympicsGB for London 2012.

Nick provides consultancy services for projects requiring sports medicine or science input. He lectures nationally and internationally on various aspects of sports medicine, physical activity and health.
