You could not wish for a better surgeon than Dr Johnson ,
Throughout two 7hr operations on my hands , she has made me feel comfortable and confident, and through her amazing efforts I now have complete movement of both my hands again!
I am so grateful, after suffering with duputryns contractions in both hands for years and all the creative abilities I have , slowly disappearing, to now have a second chance is absolutely wonderful! And she will remain a saint in my eyes forever!

Mrs Riem Johnson is an absoluty amazing surgeon, every appointment I had with her she made me feel at ease, made sure I knew every single detail and helped me understand everything. During my surgery she was very attentive and informative with everything that was going on. When I expressed I felt uneasy she helped me straight away. Would 100% recommend

I saw Mrs Johnson on several occasions before and after the operation. She was always polite and very informative explaining the surgery in great detail.
Even during the procedure Mrs Johnson was speaking to me putting me at ease and she also arranged to play my favourite music during the surgery.
I have made a full recovery and am now able to continue with my various sporting activities.
I would have no hesitation in recommending Mrs Johnson. She is an exceptionally nice and caring person.

From the moment i met Mrs Johnson i felt at ease. She was very friendly and spent time going through my issues. Explaining what would happen once my surgery was scheduled.
On the day of my operation, Mrs Johnson put me at ease, i was seen by memebers of her team, who were equally as good. She once again explained all the procedures, she carried out the procedure, talking to me throughout.
Mrs Johnson is an exceptional person, she has a very good style and a good sense of humour. I could not reccommend her enough.

I am a fellowship trained Consultant Orthopaedic Hand surgeon with a special interest in hand and wrist problems, working in Brighton and Sussex University Hospitals NHS Trust.
Background
I qualified as a doctor from the University of Leicester and then completed my basic surgical and orthopaedic training in the NorthEast of England. I then undertook a year of fellowship at Chelsea and Westminster Hospital, specialising in Hand and wrist surgery. Following this, I worked as a locum hand consultant in the Pulvertaft Hand Unit in Derby, before taking up my current substantive post as a Consultant Orthopaedic Hand Surgeon in Brighton. In addition to my NHS work, I also practice privately at the Montefiore Spire Hospital.
