Mrs Johnson treated me for carpal tunnel syndrome which was very severe in one hand and moderate to severe in the other. She organised the nerve conduction test and operated on both hands. The operations went very smoothly and Mrs Johnson was very reassuring. Mrs Johnson was most attentive to my concerns and I was delighted at the outcome. This was excellent treatment.

I'm entirely satisfied with the care Mrs. Johnson provided from the initial consultation, through the operation for Carpal Tunnel issues to the final review. Mrs Johnson is friendly, approachable yet very professional and whilst explaining the problem and possible solutions was painstakingly clear in her explanations.
My hand has fully recovered and I no longer have any of issues, Mrs. Johnson has resolved everything in my hand which has a regained full strength and no numbness or tingling in fingers or thumb.
I have no hesitation in recommending Mrs. Johnson and will myself certainly return to have the other had dealt with. I greatly appreciate her professionalism and the outcome.

I can use one word to describe Mrs Johnson EXCELLENT she carried out my operation for Carpal Tunnel at the Nuffield Hospital and although when I arrived I was worried I had no need at all. The care and attention I received was wonderful the operation was carried out with great care and I was given advice on how to look after myself afterwards. I'm looking forward to Mrs Johnson carrying out my next operation on my other hand.

I am a fellowship trained Consultant Orthopaedic Hand surgeon with a special interest in hand and wrist problems, working in Brighton and Sussex University Hospitals NHS Trust.
Background
I qualified as a doctor from the University of Leicester and then completed my basic surgical and orthopaedic training in the NorthEast of England. I then undertook a year of fellowship at Chelsea and Westminster Hospital, specialising in Hand and wrist surgery. Following this, I worked as a locum hand consultant in the Pulvertaft Hand Unit in Derby, before taking up my current substantive post as a Consultant Orthopaedic Hand Surgeon in Brighton.
