Excellent consultantion and attention he gives you. Very good communicator and has treats you with respect and has a warm personality. Will definitely recomend him to anyone else.
I was first introduced to Dr Freeman when the other consultant I was under retired.
The first time I met Dr Freeman he put me at ease explained everything to me. Mr Freeman, operated on both of my foot ankle to re align them. The first operation was done back in July 2019, with success and very pleased with, I was in a walking boot for 6 weeks and on crutches and the second was this September 2020, again with a walking boot & crutches for 6 weeks.
I was bit worried about going into hospital the second time due to COVID and both time was done has day case. I felt safe once I was in hospital and I wasn’t worried about COVID it was explained to me the risk of catching COVID while I was in hospital. The safety measures they had in place I was happy with.
I did feel the second time around I didn’t get the same service has I did with the first time around and felt slightly disappointed, I am sure this was down to COVID.
Now I can walk with out going over on my feet and me causing pain before I had the operations.
I was signed off from the hospital this December 2020 and don’t have to go back to see Dr Freeman unless I get any problems he did say if I do to contact his secretary.
I have had two foot operations with Mr Freeman at Maidstone and Tunbridge Wells Trust. On both occasions I have been impressed by the attention to detail and compassion shown by him and also the rest of the team, in particular the operating theatre nurses and anaesthetists.
In October 2020 the surgery was undertaken with Covid restrictions and I felt comfortable that the hospitals had ensured my safety as far as possible.
I feel very lucky to have had Mr Freeman as my surgeon.

Mr Freeman was brilliant. I was on a list for trauma surgery for my ankle and leg. From the moment I made contact on the phone with him he put my fears to rest. On arrival at the hospital Mr Freeman went through the procedure and reassured me. Mr Freeman performed 5 hours of surgery on me inserting pins and plates. I left in an air boot with crutches and told to fully weight bear.
I had a follow up consultation 2 weeks later where the bandages were removed. I was pleasantly surprised with the appearance of where the incisions had been made. Mr Freeman again reassured me all was well and progress was good. Mr Freeman really encouraged me to be fully weight bearing and it was mind over matter.
I saw him for a followup consultation 4 weeks later and walked into the hospital unaided - no boot or crutches. Mr Freeman is delighted with the results and so am I.
I really can't rate Mr Freeman highly enough. His beside manner, the reassurance he gave me and the skill of the operation he performed - fantastic. I would not hesitate in recommending him.
All fine except one nursing nightmare at tunbridge wells hospital.
When there seemed to be no one on duty between between 7-7.30
