For many years I suffered with Achilles pain, thankfully I was referred to Richard Freeman and elected to have surgery.
Mr Freeman was very easy to talk to and was very clear explaining the procedure and recovery process. I can’t thank the chap enough as I am so pleased with the outcome and pain free!

I suffered from complications from a sports related calf injury and after several months was referred on to Richard Freeman. I have found him to very approachable and easy to talk to and someone who takes time to explain things in a simple manner. Very quickly he was able to put in place a course of action to help and I now feel much more positive about my recovery

Dr Freeman was spot on with the diagnoses and after treatment (injection) my ankle is back to where it is from the sports injury. Total recommend his treatment at Spire Health.

I am a Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon with sub-specialist training in both Foot & Ankle surgery and Major Trauma.
My elective practice includes all aspects for foot and ankle surgery including minimally invasive surgery, arthroscopy and total ankle replacement. I have a particular interest in sports injuries and have fellowship experience of managing professional athletes.
I am the principle surgeon for foot an ankle trauma in Brighton and frequently manage referrals from across the South Coast including complex deformity and bone infection cases.
