Following an accident in February 23 I had knee surgery / ACL reconstruction, whilst doing rehabilitation for this injury I suffered a distal triceps tear on the same side, which must have been partially damaged in the accident to some extent. I searched for the best surgeon to be able to repair my injured arm. I’ve had a very active life as a fire fighter and lifeboat crewman, I also wanted to be able to continue my hobbies on two wheels and board sports so a return to physical health was one of my main objectives. I’m very glad I found such a great surgeon in Mr Joideep Phadnis, following initial consultation where Mr Phadnis was very thorough and clear about the process for repair and outcome possibilities which I really appreciated as it gave me a lot of confidence. Mr Phadnis made a lot of adjustments to accommodate my surgery at a local hospital. On the morning of surgery he talked me through the procedure once more to allay any concerns I may have had and saw me again after to explain how it went and the rehab details. I’m now in the rehab / physio stage and I’m hopeful that I’ll be able to return to sports and a full active life in the near future. I can highly recommend Mr Joideep Phadnis as a surgeon for this type of procedure, a gentleman and a very thorough consultant.

Mr Phadnis was patient and listened to my concerns and fully answered my questions. I am delighted with the result of my full reverse shoulder replacement. No pain and much more movement than I expected.

From my first consultation with Mr Phadnis I had utter confidence in his decision to carry out a reverse shoulder replacement surgery on my damaged rotator cuff and painful worn shoulder joint Since the operation I have had not one moments pain and now four months on, have almost complete strength and mobility in the arm. Thanks to the skill and patience of Mr Phadnis life is now back to normal for which I shall be forever grateful.

I was unhappy with my GPs diagnosis and asked for a second option. I was recommended to see Mr Phadnis at Spire Gatwick. Within a few minutes of being in his company, I knew I was in safe hands. His Care, attention and Understanding was phenomenal. I felt as though I was on a completely different level that only Rock stars or Hollywood Superstars receive. I had a Rotator Cuff shoulder injury and Mr Phadnis knew I was so upset and he gave me hope. I have recently had the operation and was informed of each and every process along the way. I met the operation team before hand and was extremely relaxed. I have just had my Post Op meeting with Mr Phadnis and my movement is greatly improved, and I can now cuddle my wife. My life is so much better now. A huge thank you to Mr Phadnis and his wonderful team.

I cannot praise Mr Phadnis highly enough for the care and attention that I have received since I first saw him some ten months ago. We have had many consultations concerning a possible shoulder operation. I felt that he listened to me carefully with great empathy. He also explained his thinking clearly. In the end the decision was taken not to operate. An alternative procedure has been decided upon and is taking place. I am very happy with the decision. In addition, his secretary Debbie Newman could not have been more helpful. She was friendly, sympathetic and efficient. They make a great team!
