I was seen by Mr Naqui regarding severe arthritis pain in my left hand thumb earlier this year. Mr Naqui discussed the various options with regard to treating the problem and was able to advise on a website that I could read. It was decided that I would have an x-ray guided steroid injection procedure. This was performed in April 2018. Obviously I was a little anxious but the procedure was quick and only slightly uncomfortable whilst the needle was inserted. The whole experience was made so much easier by the relaxed and friendly consultant and his support team. Follow up appointment in three months and I was able to report that I was pain free. Thank you Mr Naqui

Mr Naqui greets you with a big smile which instantly makes you feel at your ease. He has been very approachable from start to finish, explains on your level( which is rare in my experience over the years!) and listens to you which is very important. He will advise you of the best course of action for your individual needs. His hand therapist Sarah has also been great, both very professional in their approach. I would have no problem in contacting them in the future should the need arise. The only criticism is of the hospital staff could have been a little more helpful in assisting me with my mobility issues, but that does not reflect away from the excellent care which Mr Naqui and his team provided for me.

I agree with the comments from previous reviews. Mr Nagui is the doctor you dream about.....professionally of course. He has an easy reasuring manner and I had complete confidence in him. I naturally googled him after my first consultation and was very impressed by his committment to his work. His experience is extensive and he is eager to share his knowledge with others at an international level. I had a Dupuytren Fasciectomy (to straighten my bending fingers) and I feel privileged to have had him on my side! After my proceedure his attention to detail was amazing. Everything he said would happen, did happen, i.e. the healing process and physio treatment, and I loved the way he listened to my naive concerns and how he managed to reassure me. All in all a very satisfactory experience. Thank You.

Seamless experience from start to finish. Mr Naqui is a true healthcare professional. Appointment timings were always kept to, I felt that he listened without interrupting and I was involved in the progression of my care. He is extremely reassuring and I immediately felt confident in his expertise. I was able to see him one day and also have my further investigations the same week; very personalised patient care. My surgery for carpel tunnel syndrome was a complete success with relief of symptoms almost instantaneously. I feel I have a life back now as prior to surgery it was such a debilitating condition. The surgery itself was quick with very minimal pain. The wound healed very well. I would happily recommend using Mr Naqui; a superb surgeon with amazing expertise.

I have had several treatments on my hands from Mr Naqui. He has always listened and responded to my concerns. He has always given me a choice of treatments, with likely outcomes of each so I can make an informed choice. The two most recent treatments I have received from Mr Naqui were firstly a left trapeziectomy and FCR sling, and secondly a tendon sheath injection. I have been very pleased with the outcome of both procedures. I have full use of both hands following the treatments.
