Recently had a hysterectomy at the Alex under Mr Pickersgill. I had amazing care from start to finish all the nurses, doctors, HCA, catering staff and even the porters were all amazing. I was looked after amazingly and I wouldn’t hesitate to go back in the future.

I have always received prompt and sympathetic care from the staff at the Alexandra.

Pre operation assessment was awful- felt intimidated which didn't help my anxiety- husband excluded, luckily he insisted on joining me and mentioned medication I had omitted.
Stoma nurse Donn excellent, very supportive and understanding.
The majority of the nurses and care workers were excellent

The hospital staff from the porter who took me to my room house keepers, ward staff and recovery were all hard working and very caring.
