My husband had been in constant pain for quite some time and thank you to a referral to Dr Simon Monkhouse we got to the source of the problem and my husband is now 3 days post op and doing well. We have never dealt with such a clear, concise, friendly, caring doctor until we met Dr Monkhouse. We had our reservations about surgery and my husband having his gallbladder removed but Dr Monkhouse reassured us from start to finish. From the first consultation he made sure we fully understood what was going to be done and all that is associated with the operation, we knew upfront who the anaesthetist would be and were checked on even the day before the surgery just to make sure my husband was all good to go. The in hospital care on the day was fantastic, Dr Monkhouse just has a way of making people feel at ease and his confidence is so reassuring. Honestly, I cannot recommend this doctor anymore highly to anyone he is fantastic! We will certainly only ever want to deal with Dr Monkhouse in future if we have any issues in his expertise area. Thank you Dr Monkhouse, you made a very stressful and worrying time for us so much easier and your friendliness and amazing bedside manner made us feel like we mattered and weren't just a number! You are a true credit to the medical profession!!!

I returned fom overseas to have my gallbladder removed. Mr Monkhouse was flexible in fitting me into his schedule at short notice so that I could have the operation quickly and return home. He was professional and friendly throughout, from the initial consultation to the post-op appointment,making sure that I fully understood the procedure without information overload. Thank you.
