Mr Nicholas Stylianides

Nearly two weeks ago I had a gallbladder removal procedure which was done by Mr Stylianides. I put all my trust in Mr Styliandes and would do again if need be, as I found that from our first initial appointment I was made to feel at ease. I had been fully informed of the procedure, this also including if anything were to go wrong, although I felt assured and confident that this was something that has to be explained with any procedure, I was fully made aware of how long recovery could be whether it be keyhole or an incision. I was given his card and told if I had any further questions or concerns to contact his secretary. On the morning of my procedure Mr Styliandes came to see me before I went into theatre, again he was reassuring me and making me feel at ease and made sure I was ok to go ahead, also to check if I had any further questions for him before the operation. Once I was taken down to theatre, I was taken into the room before the theatre where you are given your anaesthetic, Mr Styliandes was in there and asked again if I was I ok, I told him yes and he just said see you in there and then left the anaesthetist doctors and nurses to do their job, which I must also say that they were great too. All went well with my procedure and I got to go home later the same day once Mr Styliandes had been to check all was ok with me and he was happy with my recovery. Once home my recovery went very well as I rested up fully on the evening that I returned, the next day I felt a little sore which is to be expected but the pain killers helped, by the next day I felt a bit more confident about moving around the house with no need for the use of pain killers, I returned to work after a couple of days as I don't have a physical job and just sit behind a desk so for me I felt this to be ok. I had my post op appointment this week with Mr Styliandes and again he didn't disappoint with the care and concern of how I had been recovering.
