I have been a patient of Mr Winter - Roach for over a year now and I have found his care absolutely first class. He is incredibly easy to talk to and really listens to his patients. I am very anxious about my health and Mr Winter Roach has really helped me with this as well as treating my gynae issues he has listened to me on many occasions and really helped put my mind at ease. He fills you with confidence with his experience and calm demeanour and is a lovely and kind doctor to deal with. He has always seen me very quickly and talked me through everything as a person and not just a patient. I never feel rushed in my appointments and I always feel listened to. Thank you Mr winter Roach for always looking after me so well.

I found this consultant to be very professional, he listened to me, was reassuring throughout my treatment and explained things in an easy to understand manner - essentially the main thing you expect is that the surgery goes well which it did - one area of improvement would be the admin side of things - making sure follow up appointment made after surgery to ensure all is ok

I have been left alone during my experience with cancer and I was promised that Doctor Winter Roach would be with me throughout, but I have only seen him a few times and now I have been told that I will no longer be his patient and not even a phone call to help me with whatever plans he had. I have heard that Doctor Del a cruise, if that's the way it is spelt, lonely is exactly what I have felt for the last year or so. Why would he be so reassuring to me by the way I was told? "You are not alone in this journey and I promise you that", these are the words he said. Thank you for nothing that is all I have to say.

I saw Mr Winter-Roach in Nov 2020, in the middle of the global pandemic, following a GP cancer referral.  Mr Winter-Roach was all you can ask for in a consultant, He is calm and quiet but listened carefully and provided his professional opinion from the outset to reassure me in a very lonely and scary time. At no point did I worry about my treatment or care plan as I felt very safe and secure that I was receiving the best and safest care available. My diagnosis, whilst not cancer, did result in major surgery during lockdown but I was supported superbly throughout. I cannot speak highly enough of everyone involved in my care and would not hesitate to recommend Mr Winter-Roach, his secretary, his team, the Christie or any of the ward / hospital staff. I have felt at every step, that everyone involved in my care really did care about getting me better and this made a huge difference to me. The hospital staff were absolutely outstanding in their roles and with Mr Winter-Roach, guided me through major surgery and recovery. I did not meet anyone who wasn't completely professional, kind, caring & happy to help or talk to me (in the pandemic I was on my own). Follow up care has been equally great from Mr Winter-Roach & the support & help I've received from Barbara his secretary has been fantastic. I would not hesitate to recommend Mr Winter-Roach or the Christie
