Mr Mark Edwards is an exceptionable, very thorough kind, likable doctor, he explains things clearly and gives you time to ask questions. tells you about procedures and outcomes to make your own informed choice.
very grateful to have been given an appointment with Mr Mark Edwards,
Mr.Mark Edwards,as always both listens attentively and explains things empathetically and in easily understood terminology. I really appreciate his manner and wish to alleviate situations. I am totally confident with his consultations.
Mr Edwards, performed a aorta-billiac aneurysm surgery. From the first consultation to the last, Mr Edwards, gave us a detailed description of all options open to me. He allowed me to make my own decisions as to which operation to choose and the pros and cons for that may or not happen to me. It was a very big decision and went for the major op. Mr Edwards along side anesthetist and nursing staff, were outstanding with their care, going above and beyond any care I or my family, have ever had through the NHS. Myself and my family would like to thank Mr Edwards and staff for everything they have done for me, actually can't thank them enough. Full recovery has been made, from a very successful operation. Would highly recommend Mr Edwards, literally a life saver.
Many thanks for this excellent review! I’m very grateful for these thoughts and also pleased that everything has gone so well. ME
Dr Edwards is brilliant. Very kind and patient, explains things clearly and was very reassuring about my splenic aneurism. If only all doctors were same .
Thanks for this excellent review. It is much appreciated! Please do let us know if there is anything that could be done to improve our service. ME
I was very impressed with Eastbourne Hospital in general and Mr. Edwards in particular.
He was clearly under great pressure in the current situation, but he had a very efficient system working to maximise the time he could spend with each patient.
I feel he listened to my problems and this was reflected in the detailed and authoritative letter he subsequently sent to my GP
p.s. the form below didn't have a facility to record my age ... I am 80 y.o.
also, I ticked "yes" for chronic heart disease, - does my AF qualify?
Many thanks for this excellent review. You are correct - there are many significant challenges in running an effective outpatient department in the NHS at this time. We strive to provide the best for our patients every time and it is heartening to hear that this effort makes a difference. Thank you. ME
