Mr Sains operated my umbilical hernia over two years ago. I am so grateful to have had him as my doctor. During consultations he explained everything in very simple terms so I could easily understand, he answered all my questions and also gave a general idea on how he would operate so that I knew exactly what to expect. He made me feel at ease at all times. My hernia operation was a big success and also I recovered very quickly. I highly recommend him. He truly is a very kind and understanding person and an outstanding and excellent professional.

An exceptional doctor and surgeon In early 2022 when I decided to have my inguinal hernia treated privately due to the long NHS waiting times I looked to see if Dr Sains practiced privately. I was under his care for an NHS bowel referral in January 2021 and was very impressed with the care and treatment that I received from him. I was treated by Mr Sains for my hernia at the Montefiore Hospital in Hove in March and was very please with the outcome which has enabled my to get back to my normal life. From the initial consultation to my discharge I felt supported by Mr Sains, who always had the time to answer my questions and concerns.

I received such good care from Mr Sains. He initially performed a laparoscopic procedure on my bowel, in connection with endometriosis, which was a great success. Mr Sains is not only very experienced in his field but also professional and caring. He took time to explain the procedure and really put me at ease. I have since returned to him about another matter and experienced the same level of service and care. I can’t recommend him and his team enough, thank you!

I saw Mr Sains for an umbilical hernia. From initial appointment to post op follow up he was respectful, informative, and kind. His work is excellent with minimal scarring, and i was up and about in no time. If I need any further work done and I can chose, I would chose Mr Sains again.

I was referred to Mr Sains because I needed treatment for haemorrhoids. I had an operation where a single pedicle haemorrhoidectomy was undertaken with removal of large polyp at the same time. Also banding of haemorrhoid/skin tag excision was undertaken. I cannot thank Mr Sains and his team enough! my quality of life is so much improved. I do not bleed, I suffer no pain nor discomfort. I sleep better amd I no longer need continual bowel movements. Not a pleasant operation but I was treated with dignity and care . Mr Sains is a very caring and professional Surgeon and I would recommend him wholeheartedly. Thank you.

I was seen by Mr Sains at Goring Hall Hospital for an Inguinal hernia. This was for the consultation and the operation He carried out the operation in December 2019. This went very well and apart from a bit of discomfort the first week after the operation, I felt fantastic. I cannot praise Mr Sains enough. The care and the aftercare were both brilliant. I am back to work as a dance teacher.

A very positive experience with Mr Sains who performed a lateral sphincterotomy on me. He clearly laid out options in the lead up and explained these in detail whilst also being clear on any potential risk factors. He is happy to field any number of questions and is very human in his approach. Also very thorough with post surgery follow up. All in all a good outcome, mainly due to Mr Sains' professionalism and approachability.

I couldn't be happier with the way Mr Sains took care of me from our very first meeting. After his initial examination, he detailed exactly what could be achieved from the surgery and identified the areas where things can go wrong. On the day of the operation I was feeling totally at ease and Mr Sains came to see me before the Op as did the anaethetist. The nurses and their support staff were absolutely as you would hope them to be and I was back at work within the predicted recovery time. 10/10

I was under Mr Sains care as an NHS patient in January 2019 for an emergency Hartman’s procedure, and again as a private patient in September 2019 for the reversal of the Hartman’s procedure. Every time I met with Mr Sains he made me feel safe, comfortable and confident that he has his patients best interests at heart. He always gave me the perfect level of information so that I had a good understanding of the situation, but never felt overwhelmed. Every time we met I felt that he was giving me 100% of his attention and I never felt rushed or unimportant.
