I would generally like to thank all the staff who during the course of my procedure were extremely polite and professional in there approach but I would specifically like to thank Mr Ravi Pandit my consultant for successfully carrying out my operation and to Nina the physiotherapist who helped me to regain the movement and function of my shoulder. I have been to Goring Hall for operations, procedures many times, this time I feel strongly enough to mention these 2 wonderful people that made my experience the best yet! Starting with..... * HARRY, 19yrs old, I'm a middle aged lady and usually my husband is with me all the way through, but due to timing and 2 GSD pups at home I asked him to leave to be with our dogs. Now I am on my own feeling nervous, this is where I met Harry such a wonderful kind caring young man. The first thing he said to me was "I will stay with you" which he did, I held onto his hand right until I was under my general anaesthetic ,this was so comforting with his soft kind words to me, I am a nervous patient and he helped me more than I could ever thank him. Thank You Harry, I wish you all the very best in your medical career, with your caring attitude you will be in much demand. * GIGI was my night nurse, she was 100% in every way, so extremely kind and understanding to each of my needs. She reassured me in every way and nothing was to much trouble, she was very busy all night but as soon as I pressed my button for help she was there with a warm smile. I felt completely safe in her care and hands, such a lovely kind polite lady, I hope to see her again another time whilst in Goring Hall and just like Harry they are a real credit to this hospital.

My entire experience from my initial contact with Mr Shah’s secretary Rhonda, through to the nursing staff, physios, imaging department, porters and outpatients was faultless, caring and kind. I can’t say enough about how grateful I am to everyone who looked after me!

I found all the staff at Goring Hall hospital very friendly, caring Andy helpful. They took great care to make sure I knew what was happening and that I was comfortable. They were all extremely professional in what they did. I have no hesitation in recommending this hospital.

I was seen by Lesley and Sakia, pre assesment appointment on Tuesday 22 Ocotober 2024. I was met firstly by Saskia who greeted me and was very pleasant and polite and did not rush me with any procedure she was doing and explaining what she was doing. After seeing her I was met by Lesley who immediately put me at ease and after being asked many questions explained what would be happening to me the moment I entered the hospital on 1 November 2024. I was given a lot of information to take home and what I should do to prepare myself for the operation and what to prepare at home ready for my discharge. I was also seen by a physiotherapist who talked me briefly through about when I would be seeing them after my operation and was given a booklet to take home and read. All in all a very good experience.

Excellent facilities however was disappointed that the tv & changer did not work in my room especially with the Olympic Games on thankfully i took a laptop with me to keep me amused
