I am so grateful to Mr Makki and all the NHS staff working on my case. I broke my arm requiring surgery, metal plate and pins to facilitate repair and healing. I cannot fault the care I received. I was treated with respect and felt completely trusting and reassured every step of the way at Watford General, the Fracture clinic in St Albans and the Physiotherapy support in Abbots Langley. I am super impressed by the standard of care and compassion and warmth of everyone I have come into contact with. I was particularly impressed by the time given to me by Mr Makki and his team where I was made to feel very special and had all my questions answered. My arm is healing so well what a journey. Thank you NHS workers. I am humbled … you are all amazing

Totally professional. Lovely man to deal with. He literally saved my shoulder via major surgery having experienced a complete fracture of the humerus. I was just lucky to have him do the surgery on the day at Watford General. His aftercare was also very good. I trust him completely when it comes to my shoulder. We're lucky to have surgeons like Mr. Makki available on the NHS. Given the severity of the break it would have been no quicker going privately. The only difference was possibly a private bed which frankly one doesn't care about when you're in trauma.

Mr Makki spent time explaining the procedure and listened to me through out. After the procedure before he went home he came and explained what they found regarding the issue I raised and he solved that problem as well as my original condition. The follow up appointment time was spent checking I was recovering well and he showed me the photos and explained the treatment. At no time was I rushed and Mr Makki was very friendly. This was the best treatment I have received at any hospital and by any consultant. One very happy patient.

I received great care when I had an operation to reroute a tendon in my hand following a break. Mr Makki responded to my concerns following surgery and after I voiced my worries to his secretary he saw me in his next clinic and put my mind at rest that all was well. The care I received at St Albans city hospital was as always, second to none. All in all I was very happy with my experience and highly recommend Mr Makki and his entire team.

I had shoulder surgery with Dr Makki who gave me 100% care before and after surgery. I am NHS patient who was suffering with my shoulder for over two years. I did not believe that surgery will be so successful until I met DR Makki. before surgery and after surgery I was explained from A-Z in details, even before asking a question I thought Dr Makki read my mind as he was explaining things that I was about to ask. I would highly recommend Dr Daoud Makki if you left with no hope, as Dr Makki will put you right. Thank you, Dr Makki.
