I saw Mr Woollard today for a check up following my double mastectomy and reconstruction in June and my nipple reconstruction in November. Over the last couple of years, he has seen me on a regular basis and has provided me with reassurance and top notch care and information. In the run up to, and especially on the morning of my mastectomy, I was so anxious and he was a calming, reassuring presence. He has done an amazing job of the reconstruction and was there when I came round after the operation talking me through what happens next and to check on me. For the nipple reconstruction I only had local anaesthetic but he was again very informative and made me feel welcome and comfortable in the operating room, I even got to choose the music playlist! Today we discussed next steps, tattoos, and as always I have come away with all the info I need. I am very pleased with how good my new breasts look. I was not too bothered about having the nipples reconstructed but I am glad I did as it has had a really good effect. I would like to thank Mr Woollard and his team for providing me with first rate care. I can not recommend him highly enough.

Mr Woollard is a highly caring and empathic surgeon, with a kind and patient manner. He listened carefully to my concerns and provided support and reassurance. He was readily accessible and works with a fantastic team, including an excellent clinical nurse specialist. His clinics are often very busy and run late, however it is well worth waiting to see him. I would highly recommend him to any patient needing plastic surgery.

This doctor is a very professional. patient man. He takes the time to explain, even more than once! The flip side of this is that all the appointments take much longer than booked in for and therefore waiting times are quite long.

Mr Woollard is kind, caring and an excellent surgeon. He has always listened to me and made me feel that no question was too insignificant. I have been treated very well and trust him completely with the next stage of my treatment. I had a therapeutic mammoplasty followed by a reconstruction with existing Breast tissue. Mr Woollard conducted the reconstruction brilliantly.
