Mrs Craig has a warm and friendly personality making it easy to discuss problems with her. She was extremely thorough and explained everything at the first appointment and subsequent appointment. I never felt rushed and was able to ask a number of questions which were answered patiently.

Initially I was very nervous and anxious as I didn’t know what to expect, however Christine listened very carefully as I was explaining my symptoms.
She asked me some questions and did the examination. Throughout the whole thing she was making me aware of what she was doing every step of the way.
She then gave me a diagnosis and advised me of treatment options. The great thing about her was she was also quite funny and made me feel at ease. It was like speaking to a friend !
Without me having to say anything she picked up on the fact I felt embarrassed and nervous and had easily put my mind at rest.
I would definitely 100% recommend. She is very professional at the same time. Thank you.

Professional, warm, direct and a listener. Experienced and skilled but able to get to the core of concerns often of a very personal and longstanding problem. Not major, but nevertheless increasingly impacting on daily life.
Major treatments are not always required in medicine generally, but difficult to find a professional that is able to be direct, kind and truly understands that starting at the beginning with a health issue involves interaction with the patient, viewing things from their pointf view whilst applying professional skill and knowledge to resolve the issue in hand. A skill that is difficult to find in the UK health service but sorely needed. Thank you Mrs Craig!

I am an experienced female Colorectal and General Surgeon. I qualified in Leeds in 1998 and returned to work in Manchester a year later.
My NHS post is at Manchester Royal Infirmary but I also provide outreach clinics, endoscopy and Day Case Surgery at Trafford and Altrincham General Hospitals. As a Colorectal Surgeon, I specialise in diagnosing and treating bowel cancers and other bowel conditions but I also deal with all those bottom/bum issues that you don't really wish to discuss with anyone.....
I am JAG accredited in endoscopy (Gastroscopy; Flexible Sigmoidoscopy and Colonoscopy) and an experienced laparoscopic surgeon.
BOTTOMS - bleeding; pain; itchiness; rectal prolapse; rectal discharge; piles; anal skin tags; fissures; fistulas; anal stenosis; pilonidal disease; abscesses.
Banding of piles; haemorrhoidectomy; removal of anal skin tags; fistula treatment; fissure treatment including Botox injections.
