Having waited too many years to deal with my worn-out knees, within a day of deciding to do something, I had seen a leading physio, learned that Paul is the Go To knee surgeon in Surrey, got an appointment and fixed a date for the first knee replacement. He doesn't mess about. The first knee replacement went so well (December 2014), I got the other one done three months ago (December 2015). It is a life-changing operation, if you are at the stage of even having pain when just lying in bed. It needs a lot of painful exercise after the operation to be effective but I had been used to having pain every day anyway so that wasn't a big issue. With two new knees, I'm now wondering how soon I can wear them out! Paul was inspirational in the process. He instills 100% confidence in his skills and judgment so when he tells you to do the impossible within a few hours of the operation, you do it (and discover you can). His direct honesty about what is involved is part of the success - it is a partnership between his skills and your determination. Follow-up consultations became targets to aim for, because of the feeling of partnership. I've now run out of knees to fix. I'll miss Paul (and the Woking Nuffield) next Christmas.

Paul Trikha has done a great job on my ACL reconstruction. He is very knowledgeable and confident and gets straight to the point but was really good at explaining the treatment and answering any questions I had. He has also shown a genuine interest in my recovery, helping me select the right physiotherapist and seeing me regularly after the operation to check on my progress. I would definitely recommend him.

Dr Trikha has been a pleasure to work with. Paul was concise and clear in his explanations and provided me with alternatives. At the end of the day he set my expectations which was immensely helpful post operation. He was very encouraging and made it clear what I needed to do to recover appropriately. I followed his suggestions and was walking unaided in 3 weeks and off pain killers in 6 weeks. My recovery has gone well and put this down to a very competent surgeon and support staff. I would recommend him and his team.

Mr Trikha recently repaired torn cartilage in my knee. He completed the procedure as he had advised and I was pain free throughout the entire recovery. In fact, walking, shopping and driving the next day.

Paul Trikha is an inspiring Surgeon because he treats you as an intelligent human being! Explains exactly what to expect, including lots of pain, but challenges you to fight it and work at exercises to achieve a good result. He has done a very neat complete knee replacement for me, and I am booked in to return for the other one after Christmas.
