Mr Navarni is incredibly professional and presents you with all the facts and risks with treatment. After trying all other avenues my treatment resulted in a subacromial decompression. I recovered within several months with excellent physio to follow the operation and have regained full strength and mobility in my left shoulder thanks to Mr Navarni.

I met Mr Ali Narvani after I had already had a rotator cuff repair surgery carried out by another consultant, I was recommended to see Mr Narvani as I was experiencing alot of pain and my recovery had plateau. Mr Narvani listened to my concerns and we proceeded with a course of investigations bringing to light that there was indeed problems with the previous surgery. It was suggested that I needed further surgery in order to be pain free and my arm to be repaired. Mr Narvani explained in great detail what was involved, what he planned to do and what to expect with recovery putting my mind at ease all the time. I am now five months post surgery and recovery is going very well, the surgery has been a success, still a way to go but I am having fortnightly physio treatment and have the use of my arm again. I have no hesitation in recommending Mr Narvani as a consultant/surgeon, he has great empathy, understanding and patience. I was most surprised to receive a call 24 hrs after I had surgery to see how I was doing. I cannot thank Mr Narvani enough for what he has done for me.

Mr Narvani was terrific from the outset. I was recommended to him (by a colleague who specialises in a different area), and my first appointment with him was in Woking. Mr Narvani listened to my previous history with the same shoulder and recommended his approach clearly setting out what to expect over a period of time. I trusted him immediately and found him very warm. Due to the pain I was in, I was given the earliest surgical appointment at the Fortius Clinic in Marylebone. The operation went very smoothly on the day and Mr Narvani saw me as soon as I came round. He explained that he'd not only rectified the complete rupture of my supraspinatus as planned, but also the partial rupture of the subscapularis, and he also tidied up old scarring and debris from procedures 20 years before. I have been delighted with the results. The post operative pain subsided in a few weeks (I'd recommend lots of ice packs at night). Mr Narvani kindly rang me at home when he heard that I'd developed an unusual infection following extubation. Mr Narvani saw me twice at The Runnymede Hospital and was satisfied with my physiotherapy progress to discharge me after 3 months. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Mr Narvani to anyone suffering from shoulder pain.

I first met Mr Narvani 11 years ago after fracturing my left shoulder, which was very painful and turned into a frozen shoulder, he successfully operated and repaired it, little did I know I would meet Mr Narvani again 11 years later, 18 months ago I suffered a painful left shoulder again after falling over. Mr Narvani is alway very patient and explains everything carefully so you understand what is happening, always pleased to see you. I would not hesitate to recommend him to anyone with shoulder pain. Dr Narvani was a real professional Gentlman that operated on my shoulder (rotator cuff) and I cantcsay just how pleased I am that Mr Narvani was my surgeon. I canot recomend enough.

I was referred to Mr Narvani for a bicep tendon rupture. In his examination, he discovered that I had a medium size rotator cuff tear. I was operated on within a couple of weeks. After three months my shoulder is better than it has been in years I found Mr Narvani clear and understandable on what was a relatively complex procedure. He explained the difficulty of living with a sling/wedge and I was fully aware of the annoyance it would cause me for 6 weeks. I have the highest respect and regard for a gentleman that has made a material improvement in the quality of my movement in my right shoulder/arm.

Mr Narvani is an excellent and very caring orthopaedic surgeon. He was very efficient in making a diagnosis of my left shoulder fracture and recommended appropriate treatment to follow-up and repair the issue within a matter of weeks. I would highly recommend this doctor for any type of shoulder injuries.

I saw Mr Narvani after a series of shoulder dislocations left me with pain and an overly restrictive lifestyle, dominated by a fear of future trauma. Rather than rushing into surgery, he advised me to delay until my shoulder had healed enough to minimise the risk of surgery causing unnecessary, long-term restrictive movement. I really appreciated the fact he was very open and transparent about why it was best to wait - the complete opposite of being rushed through the system to get you off the list as soon as possible! The surgery itself was conducted expertly as key hole surgery (unexpected given the challenges that posed) and the follow up care was first class. Wish I had elected for surgery earlier on!

Excellent work. Completely solved my shoulder problem with a minimum of fuss. The after care was excellent as well. I have no hesitation in recommending Mr Narvani.
