Mr Freeman is extremely professional and a specialist in ankle and foot problems. He is very approachable, easy to talk to and listens to your problem. Very thorough and explains exactly what he would recommend if you need surgery.
He has a great team in theatre who put you totally at ease.
I would totally recommend anybody who has problems with their ankle/foot to consider Mr Freeman as their consultant/surgeon.

I have had two operations under the care of Mr Freeman and have been pleased with the results. He took the time to explain what the operation would involve and how long the recovery would take. The after care was also excellent.

I was given Mr Freeman’s name by a sports physiotherapist when my daughter had damaged her ankle playing sport. An MRI scan revealed ruptured ligaments. Mr Freeman completed the operation, removing a fragment of bone and reconstructed the lateral ligament. My daughter experienced no pain, and within 6 weeks was exercising gently on her ankle and 10 weeks was playing sport again. I thoroughly recommend Mr Freeman to anyone considering ankle surgery.

I am a Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon with sub-specialist training in both Foot & Ankle surgery and Major Trauma.
My elective practice includes all aspects for foot and ankle surgery including minimally invasive surgery, arthroscopy and total ankle replacement. I have a particular interest in sports injuries and have fellowship experience of managing professional athletes.
I am the principle surgeon for foot an ankle trauma in Brighton and frequently manage referrals from across the South Coast including complex deformity and bone infection cases.
