Yesterday I had my second appointment with Mr Dessouky, the first being at the beginning of last month. On both occasions I have found Mr Dessouky to be very approachable, taking time to listen and he has been very understanding.

Surgery: Rhinoseptoplasty - Straightening of the septum following breaks in the nose - 2015. Mr Osama Dessouky performed my Rhinoseptoplasty in 2015 and in short, I have no hesitancy in recommending Mr Dessouky, the surgery and service in which I received could not have been better. Having never had surgery before I was slightly anxious and hesitant about receiving surgery on my nose. Following my discussion with Mr Dessouky at St Thomas and Guys Hospital, my anxieties were quickly put to rest, and given the expertise Mr Dessouky possesses and clearly demonstrated, it was clear I was in safe hands. I was advised clearly on the surgery which would be taking place, the results of which were clearly aligned with my my desired outcome; a straightening of my septum which would enable clear breathing removing the restriction to airflow, and a resultant straightening in the appearance of my nose. It deviated to the left, unfortunately. On my operation day, the staff at St Thomas and Guys Hospital were great, and I could not have received a better service. I was well looked after. I went home afterwards, cast over my nose, and rested up for a couple of weeks. 2 weeks later, I went to my local GP and had my cast taken off my nose. The great results of my surgery were immediately noticeable, and I was over the moon with the success of the operation. Despite some swelling, it was clear my septum had been straightened, and breathing was already much clearer. I was overjoyed. I visited Mr Dessouky for check ups following my surgery at various intervals up to 1 year. He was always very approachable and we were able to discuss in a clear manner the operation and the care which should be administered. One year following my surgery I am delighted with the results of my operation. I have clear airways and there is no deviation to my nose. Perfect! Thank you Mr Dessouky, I cannot thank you enough!

The doctor is very calm and he spent time to discuss the issue. He was very clear and showed and explained my CT scan. He put me at ease as I was nervous. He outlined the next steps and also what I need to do if I need further support. A refreshing doctor would recommend for sure.

Mr Osama D, Visited me in October where I was advised for surgery. I was very happy to find out he was going to look after me. I appreciate his honesty about the good and the bad things of this procedure.It also was great to explain what he did + the complication he found. I am feeling very comfortable with this doctor.
