Dr Misha Verkerk

Dr Misha saw me in ENT at Guy's to review my CT scan and subsequently we agreed to go ahead and add me to the surgical list. He was very kind, very patient, and a pleasure to speak with. He explained the radiological findings and potential implications extremely well. When discussing the surgery with me he explained everything in detail using an ear anatomy poster to explain various aspects of the operation. He listened to my (very many!) questions and answered them fully. At no point did I feel rushed. He was also sensitive to my needs, making sure that he faced me and spoke clearly, checking frequently that I could hear him. I truly felt that he approached my care in the holistic manner which one can only appreciate.

Dr Misha is very knowledgeable and is a great communicator. For me was very important to be kept in the loop while I was under his care. Information is a great tool especially when what we're talking about is your own health.
