My wife Jennifer suffers from a profound hearing loss in both ears and has required improved aids over the last 20 years. This has frequently required input from an ENT consultant which Mr Matthew Trotter has provided. The resolution of ear infections has been necessary on several occasions, sometimes in very short timescales. Mr Trotter has been both readily available and extremely successful in these matters, for which we have been very grateful. I can highly recommend Mr Trotter to prospective clients. We went to Mr Trotter after my daughter continually had tonsillitis over a 9 month period. At the first consultation we were told exactly what would happen pre-op and post-op and my daughter, having been in such pain and discomfort for a number of months, decided to have the tonsillectomy. After the operation the pain and healing process was exactly as we were told and everything is now healed. Mr Trotter and his team were an absolute pleasure to deal with and extremely knowledgeable and we sincerely thank them for making us feel at such ease.

Pleased that I went with Mr Trotter for tonsillectomy. The procedure was well worth it and has improved my quality of life. The first days after the procedure were very sore but worth it. Mr Trotter took the time to explain and answer my questions with great care and attention, and this was significant to me as some doctors prefer to just treat you and move to the next patient asap. I feel that Mr Trotter was impartial with his medical opinion and was absolutely honest and upfront with both the positives and negatives of the procedure, and the risks involved.

Dr Trotter performed 2 operations on my 3 year old sons eye. I am forever grateful for him saving my son’s eyesight. He had a worse case infection. He was absolutely brilliant and visited my son all the time. The after care was also brilliant. My family and I trust Dr Trotter. I couldn’t fault him. Thank you deeply for your amazing service. I have been a patient of Mr.Trotter’s for over 2 years due to an ear infection that required a mastoidectomy operation, Mr Trotter has been brilliant throughout this time and he has pushed for the operation to done as soon as possible which hasn’t been easy due to Covid. The first time he examined me he explained exactly what the operation entailed and all of the risks involved in having the operation and not having the operation so you could make an informed decision and I felt total confidence in him. Every consultation I have had he is extremely pleasant and has a great bedside manner he has continued to explain everything so you are completely aware of what he is doing and why it is being done. I have every faith in him and his ability and I feel extremely lucky to have him as my consultant
