Mr Matthew Trotter

I saw Mr Matthew Trotter today for an ENT consultation about an ongoing ear problem I’ve had for years, and for the first time I finally feel like it’s under control thanks to his help. He also did a tonsillectomy on my daughter a few years ago and has seen her again recently for another issue. He is brilliant with children - and in her words, “Mr Trotter is brilliant!” He’s a really lovely person, takes his time, explains things clearly, and is very good at what he does. Would definitely recommend him.

We took our 3 year old to see Mr Trotter for recurring tonsillitis. On the first appointment he talked us through the diagnosis and the different treatment options. He gave us full control over the next steps and reassured us in every way. His bedside manner with our child was excellent, calming and engaging. Taking our child to see Mr Trotter was the best thing we ever did!

Mr Trotter diagnosed my balance problem as vestibular migraines after my first appointment and prescribed me medication. I can't thank him enough, he changed my life overnight and vastly improved my quality of life. Mr Trotter is not only a brilliant consultant but he also listens carefully to your concerns and has a wonderful caring nature! Thank you!

I was referred to Matthew from his colleague David Howe with an ear problem. What a great surgeon/consultant. He was friendly, professional, and very thorough. Listened to my concerns and explained everything he was doing to help in terminology I could understand. He was positive he could sort this out for me which was very reassuring. Mr Trotter was extremely informative and honest with regards to pre surgery and post surgery expectations and management. I felt Mr Trotter gave a personal approach to my consultations and paid great interest in my next educational steps, which made me feel valued as a patient instead of just a number on a page. Really great experience throughout the process

From the very first appointment, Mr Trotter listened and also explained what was happening. I ended up needing FESS and Septoplasty and the care shown was excellent. Mr Trotter came to see me just before, and then after, my surgery. At my follow up, the same kindness and considerate care was shown. I would highly recommend Mr Trotter and I thank him for his care.
