Mr Howe treated me for hyperparathyroidism with a partial parathyroidectomy. He thoroughly explored my symptoms and ordered appropriate investigations to decide on a management plan that was appropriate for me. He saw me bright and early in the day of the procedure to run through what he was going to do and reassured me. The procedure was carried out very well. After the procedure he talked me through what he had done and informed my family. He was professional, caring, understanding and had fantastic communication throughout the process. I could not recommend him more!

Mr Howe has the added skill of listening and explaining medical stuff in laypersons terms which is a great when you are a patient. i would not presume to make suggestions as to how he could improve as I do not think that he could. I do think that trainees could learn from sitting in on his clinics.

Doctor Howe performed my thyroid removal surgery with care and skill. He is patient, professional and extremely diligent My scar 4 days later is already fading and I have had minimal pain post surgery. I highly recommend this skilled surgeon.

But it was his willingness to go far beyond the line of duty in my case that makes me write. Mistakes were made by others and he cut his holidays short to save my life. He is a young man but a very old fashioned doctor.

I was lucky to have had Mr Howe treating me. He kept me informed all the way. He removed a large cyst from my neck on 10th November2014. This was my first operation and I wasn't in the least bit nervous as I had had everything explained to me. He had a very pleasant manner and made me understand the procedure that I would be getting.
