After suffering for a number of years due to uterine fibroids I was referred to Mr Hextall in November 2015. I was very nervous & Mr Hextalls very calm & relaxing manner immediately put me at ease. He thoroughly explained the options open to me and it soon became clear that my only long term solution was to have a subtotal hysterectomy. Mr Hextall carried out my operation on 3 December 2015. Again his pleasant disposition & clear explanations helped me at this traumatic time. He visited me whilst in hospital & put my mind at rest throughout. His advise regarding my recovery process has been very honest & set the correct expectations. Now 6 weeks on I am so pleased I had this operation. I cannot praise enough Mr Hextall, I felt I could ask him anything & always felt he was truly concerned for my health & wellbeing.

Mr Hextall performed my operation ( total hysterectomy and prolapse repair ) in January 2015. He is a wonderful doctor who listened to all my concerns prior to my procedure, discussed them with me and reassured me with sensitivity and understanding. My operation went very well enabling my recovery to be comfortable, uneventful and speedy. My aftercare whilst on the ward was second to none. The staff were kind , competent and thorough. Mr Hextall visited me several times over the 3 days I was an inpatient. He always had plenty of time to talk about any concerns I may have had. My operation was a huge success . My prolapse repair has made me feel like a new woman and I cannot thank Mr Hextall enough. He is extremely skilled at what he does, is kind, empathetic and gentle. I would never hesitate to recommend him to anybody .

When I found out that I had to have a hysterectomy,ovaries and ovarian cyst removed as well as a prolapse repair I was very frightened. Mr. Hextall gave me a feeling of confidence in his knowledge and ability and my feelings proved to be absolutely correct. It is now six weeks since my operation and I have recovered really well without any setbacks along the way. I am very grateful to him and his team for their skill, care and kindness.

Following consultation regarding a vaginal prolapse Mr Hextall recommended I had a Sacrocolpopexy operation which was recently carried out by himself at Spire Hospital Bushey. I found Mr Hextall very easy to talk to regarding my problem and has a caring and friendly manner. It is now seven weeks since the operation and following a final examination by Mr Hextall I can say that the operation appears from all accounts to have been successful. I would most certainly recommend Mr Hextall.
