£270 for 20min consultant. Then told to get mri scan £599.Then another £150 for results. Then told to go to GP. My advice would be go straight to GP and save 1k

Wonderful staff and atmosphere at this hospital. Care was carried out with a smile, and I was checked on regularly. Nothing was too much trouble. My room was kept very clean by cheerful helpful cleaning staff. I was (almost) sorry to leave!

All the staff I came into contact with were great. Nothing was too much trouble. It was as if you only had to think of something and they appeared. In hind sight I think it would have benefited my recovery if I had greater movement in my knee by the time I left , but at the time I was happy to go home.

I don't know how the care could be improved - it was excellent. All of the staff were polite and friendly, did what they said they were going to do and never gave the impression that they had other, more important matters to which they needed to attend. Nothing was too much trouble for them. Everything was very well organised and the after-discharge care was great.

I felt very well cared for during my stay at the Spire Harpenden. All the staff were very caring and attentive to my needs. My room was comfortable and the food very good.

This was my second total knee replacent, both procedures carried out at Spire Harpenden. On both my stays the care I received was excellent! The staff were always on hand, I wanted for nothing. The accomodation was first class and the catering was exceptional!

I saw Mrs Akbar to discuss my MRI report and treatment options on 18.01.23. I was a bit afraid about the whole procedure that I will require and the risks. However, after meeting Mrs Akbar I feel assured and feel that I will be in safe hands. She immediately made me feel comfortable and relaxed, giving me her full attention and time listening to all my concerns and problems, she also answered all my questions and asked me relevant questions. She has an empathetic, caring, pleasant and warm personality/demeanour. I am glad I found her to help me with my fibroid issue.

Been attending Spire hospital for 30 years and can totally recommend it as a caring, clean friendly environment. Cant think of ways to improve it, only a better place to have a coffee or tea would be nice.
