We cannot put into words how good Dr Rajagopalan has been in his approach and attention to detail, his bedside manner and kindness together with his determination to treat and try to solve our daughter Katy’s illnesses has been outstanding. Katy has 4 limb cerebral palsy and epilepsy together with many other complications, she is severely disabled but when well is a happy girl who lives life to the full and enjoys a very black sense of humour. She has been seriously ill since October last year and Pradeep Rajagopalan has continued to do all he can to ensure she receives the very best treatment and care. He is always available to contact and support both Katy and our family. We can’t thank him enough. He is a very kind, knowledgable, caring, attentive and special person.

I was referred to Dr Raj by my doctor or any evidence of cancer and that I had been coughing blood. I saw Dr Jaj and explained in detail my background having listened to me he explained what he felt was the right course to go down, so tests of blood xrays on my lungs, strength tests on lungs and a CT scan, all carried out in such a short period. Having the tests back Dr Raj went through in detail to explain what was found. My experience with the NHS has been excellent in all departments. I cannot praise all the people concerned especially Dr Raj, I'm so proud our country can provide a health service to all, thank you guys so much Mr H F Tran

I was referred to Dr Rajagopalan Pradeep, at very short notice following a routine ct scan which revealed a shadow on my lung which was initially thought may be lung cancer. On the first consultation he was very polite, caring and supportive obviously realising I was shocked at the news having had no symptoms or inkling of a problem. He fully explained everything and showed me all the scans and remained very positive in his attitude. He immediately sent me off for a number of tests that were carried out there and then. I was seen by Dr Rajagopalan Pradeep on a number of occasions over a 4 month period until I was finally given the all clear last week. During this period I had further ct scans, X-rays, lung function tests etc., and Dr Rajagopalan Pradeep would occasionally phone me himself at home to see how everything was going. He always took time to explain everything and would listen to, and answer all my questions and concerns. He would even remember personal matters such as family, holidays etc., which I believe showed he really took an individual interest in his patients. In the end I had good news and was discharged from his clinic (although he has referred me on to ENT for another matter) and I was asked would I still have had such a high opinion of Dr Rajagopalan Pradeep if the news had been bad. In answer to that it would still be a massive YES. Over the years I have met a number of Consultants (numerous sporting injuries and worked at NHS in the 80’s) and I can honestly say Dr Rajagopalan Pradeep is head and shoulders above them all, if not in stature, in patient care, kindness and professionalism. He is a true credit to his profession and the William Harvey Hospital and they have a star on their staff. I would also point out that I met a number of staff during this period of testing and everyone of them had a very high opinion of Dr Rajagopalan Pradeep, praising him on his attention to detail and care.

I was referred to Dr Pradeep after a chest xray showed a shadow on my lung. Dr Pradeep explained in detail what he observed and what he believed was causing the shadow and arranged for a number of blood tests and CT scans to be carried out. The tests were arranged promptly and I was fully informed of each procedure during my visits. At my latest visit I was informed that the shadow has now significantly reduced and one final visit will be arranged in the coming months. Dr Pradeep has been very approachable, thorough and professional and kept me fully informed of all procedures, a credit to his profession.
