I liked his positive but honest approach and felt in good safe hands. Unlike some consultants I have come across he is grounded, a good communicator and obviously enthralled by his speciality.

An excellent consultant in charge of an excellent team, all staff from the senior surgeon to the porters, conducting themselves in a most professional manner making my stay in the Spencer unit, Margate, most comfortable. All involved a real credit to the Spencer Unit and hospital. Well done Michael Martin

I was quite worried about this catch up appointment, it was the first since my cardiac arrest and I was worried I wouldn’t be able to ask my questions or that I wouldn’t have enough time. However, Dr Rosengarten was really thorough and kind, listening to all of my anxious questions and giving clear and considered advice. I felt I could trust what he was saying and he was very knowledgeable. This was extremely reassuring! He also knew my ‘case’ and needs really well and gave me information about my heart patiently and sensitively, without being worried about telling me all the facts.

Having attended Spencer Wing Margate for an appointment 12.30hrs 11/09/2023 it was discovered that I had been sent to the wrong hospital. Whilst still at Margate I received a phone call from Dr Rosengarton who apologised for the mistake and continued the conversation by asking about my current health. At the conclusion it was agreed that I would undergo other tests and a new appointment date would be made.
