The Spencer wing in Ashford is comfortable and all members of staff are very helpful, friendly and considerate.

As a NH patient I was allocated a room for my surgery in the Spencer wing Margate. The nursing staff were all excellent. Caring, efficient, friendly and professional..Particularly the two nurses on night duty who kept a very close eye on me and were very attentive.. that was so re-assuring. i could not wish for, or imagine a more caring environment that all the staff created.

As an NHS patient I think some of the staff were very rude and not very helpful.I felt because I wasn’t the fee paying customer they dealt with me differently and it was very embarrassing especially to them.The staff were arguing with the consultant in full view of the waiting patients.

Nursing/care staff great.
Don't even bother making a complaint against Spencer Wing or anyone involved with it, the consultants and managers will range against you with fictitious facts and a very poor grasp of the English language. Eventually they were told to pay me £200 as a "gesture of goodwill" because of the way they dealt with my complaint, which would have really stuck in their throats, as goodwill is close to the least of their virtues, which left me about £1000 out of pocket.
