From attending my consultation to coming into the hospital for surgery I felt I was in safe hands. All of the staff I encountered were friendly and reassuring and each displayed an air of confidence in their own ability to do their job which reflected very positively to me. Should the need arise, I would have no hesitation on using this hospital again

Generally the whole experience in KIMS has been terrific. The preparation for surgery was very good. Meet, greet and care during my stay was just as it should be. Staff very curteous. I would have welcomed a bit more advice and information on post operative pain management once the hospital grade course of pain relief ran out. If I'm critical it would be that the information via lifeboxhealth isn't great. The physio provided a different exercise plan. The explanation and expectation of recovery progression was not reflective of experience and really did fail to put across the level of post op pain and it's duration. (And I'm not just reflecting on my experience but I'm part of a knee replacement group and their experience would confirm my observation) The post op questionnaire from lifebox was very poorly worded rendering the thing useless. Lifeboxhealth is definately the weak link. You'd also expect everything to happen via lifeboxhealth but it doesn't. KIMS medical staff communicate separately and appear to hold lifeboxhealth in contempt.

Everyone I met at the hospital was kind and/or compassionate from the concierge and reception staff through to the consultant. I was anxious but was made to feel at ease during my appointment. Thank you.

I had missed that it was essential to drink fluids on the morning of the procedure, that didn’t seem clear in the literature.
