Dr Anshuman is an excellent Rheumatologist whom I’ve worked with as a GP at Broomfield hospital. He remains my most trusted colleague to refer private patients but my NHS patients are prepared to travel from Essex for his expertise in Cambridge. He is an expert in his field but also good seeing patients with more challenging problems that may not be purely Rheumatological which is reassuring when a diagnosis is not clear. He is a brilliant communicator and he excellent letters are an example to many other consultants. I have total trust in his judegement and that he will safety and expertly diagnose my patients. My patients have all feedback how comfortable he makes them feels and how confident they are in his skills.

Prior to seeing dr malaviya I had two and a half years of constant pain that left me on crutches and eventually led to me having a stroke at 34! Within ten minutes of being with him he had diagnosed me with ankylosing spondylitis, and quite literally changed my life. I really can not thank him enough for all he has done to help both me and in turn my family, literally giving my life back. Incredibly professional, supportive and willing to listen, and importantly takes the time to ensure he follows up with you to make sure all is well.

I have been a patient of Dr Malaviya for a few years and prior to being referred to him I was at my wits end struggling with constant pain. His help and course of treatment has made an enormous difference to the quality of my day to day life. He is an incredible doctor who seems to genuinely care about his patients and understand about the long-term effects a condition can have on them. He has a sympathetic but practical approach to treatments, makes the effort to explain why he is advising a certain course of action whilst still involving you in the decisions being made. I feel incredibly fortunate to have had him as my rheumatologist, anyone who regularly has any sort of hospital care appreciates how lucky we are in this country to have help available, we know the demands on doctors, nurses and their support teams are high but Dr Malaviya and his team proves that providing that level of care is achievable. Highly recommended
