I used the Cambridge Spire Lea hospital for meetings with my Consultant and an ultrasound scan. The quality of the facilities and care received was very good. I have deducted one star from the timely information score, as I would have liked to have received visibility of my ultrasound report sooner. Receiving the ultrasound report sooner may have enabled me to expedite the next stage of my care.

Fabulous staff - knowledgeable, friendly and personable from the reception team to the radiologists, theatre clinicians, to the pre and post nursing care. The hospital has free parking, is easy to access and is scrupulously clean with great facilities. I would not hesitate to recommend this Spire Cambridge Lea.

Booked an appointment online, prepaid, and received email confirmation. Arrived in good time and checked in with reception. Apparently the consultant never received details of the appointment and had left the hospital by the time anyone chased it up. Including journey time three hours wasted. Spoke to the consultant by phone who said his secretary would call me back the next day to rebook. She didn't. Tried to speak to the 'customer experience team', but they were not available. Trying to speak to anyone is a nightmare without tu7rning up in person. The sixth option on the recorded menu 'Anything else' rings for a while then cuts the line. Managed to get the number of the consultant's secretary, but every time I rang it went straight to voicemail. Very unimpressed.

Excellent pre and post op care from undrstanding and attentive staff, thank you.
There were plenty of blankets etc for when I came out of the surgery (using local anaesthetic), to keep me warm.

Been here before , couldn’t fault it then or now, care , food , nursing staff, you can talk to as they listen , and looked after me very well, also my husband who was concerned about me
