I had my bypass 2 years ago & the care I got from Simon & his team was first class. From the first information evening I knew this is where I would come for my treatment and together we decided the best way forward. The operation was a long one an went late into the evening, however Simon still took the time to personally speak to my husband and visit me back in the room before he went home. The follow up care from the whole team was exceptional and I have loved every moment of my journey with them - and I have lost 111% of my excess weight, which is just over 9 stone!

Mr Monkhouse , Repaired an Umbilical Hernia for me and was quite frankly amazing. He kept me informed , went out of his way to arrange appointments and too move my surgery forward when my symptoms got worse.

Simons care and expertese is the best I've ever encountered , He made sure I knew all the infomation prior to the operation. The care leading up, during and after the op was amazing! For the few days I was in hospital following my op Simon visited me regularly, something I've never experienced or heard of before! He is a lovely caring, kind , professional man who I can not recommend enough!!

Mr. Monk house is personable, human and approachable. He listens, cares and understand. He does not hurry you and gives as much information as is needed to ensure you understand the problem you have and the operation required. Mr Monkhouse is absolutely brilliant! I was referred to him by my GP and from the start, Mr Monkhouse has been very supporting, encouraging, approachable, sympathetic and just the greatest Consultant I could have asked for. He is also one of the most humble and down to earth Consultants that I have had the pleasure to meet. This surgery will be life changing for me and Mr Monkhouse is the first person to take me seriously and help me through this process. He has fought my corner on a number of occasions and for this, I will always be truly grateful to him.
