After receiving a referral letter from my GP who suggested I would most likely require physio following an ongoing right knee complaint. My insurer assigned me to Mr. Trikha. Within 10 minutes of the initial consultation, Mr Trikha diagnosed torn meniscus. He assured me he could fix the problem. An MRI scan was organised the following morning, the results discussed the morning after and then surgery booked in the following week. Having never undergone surgery I wasn't sure what to expect. What I can report is that within the hour after knee arthroscopy I could support myself unaided, a few hours later I was walking out of the BMI hospital. Following his instructions to rest for a week, I've been able to return to the gym for moderate exercise and it's almost impossible to detect the incisions. At no point have I felt any pain so am confident I'll be back to full strength in the near future. The staff at BMI were very caring and attentive and although I'm not qualified but can only go on my experience Mr Trikha is obviously a very knowledgeable and skilled practitioner. Having had a torn cartilage in my left knee 25 years ago I knew the signs and was sure I had the same problem in my right knee which had become completely debilitating. Despite his reservations as he said my right knee was worn out and would eventually need replacing, Mr Trikha listened to me and performed an arthroscopy to remove the damaged cartilage in March this year. This fixed the problem instantly and 4 months on I am completely back to normal and have just been on a scuba diving holiday which tested the knee to the limit. Mr Trikha is clearly highly skilled and was prepared to work outside normal guidelines to fix my problem for which I am very grateful

From my first visit to see Mr.Trikha I felt completely safe and at ease and now 6 weeks on from a total knee replacement I could not feel any better. No painkillers,no crutches and my life is so much better. Thank you

Mr Trikha completed an ACL reconstruction on my Right Knee in January 2018, within 5 months I had been given the all clear to play netball again, and had been fully discharged after 6 months Post Op. I though his approach to the injury, surgery and recovery were brilliant - Mr Trikha knows what he is talking about and it filled me with a huge amount of confidence going into every stage. My knee feels incredibly strong after what it has been through. I would certainly recommend Mr Trikha if you ever require knee surgery - I know I would head back to him if it was ever required! AH

I had an ACL reconstruction surgery in 2010 by Mr Trikha. He used arthroscopy and took a graft from my hamstring to replace the damaged ligament on my right knee. Following a successful surgery I only noticed during the physio classes that I was the only one without any scars on my knee as other surgeons were using traditional methods. I wasn't given the choice by the NHS but was extremely happy about Mr Trikha's choice of doing a arthroscopy. 8 years on my knee is almost as good as the original. Thank you Mr Trikha.
