mr jain is a good doctor but I felt the listening side of him lacked empathy and patience at referral stage. I had waited and in pain for more than two years to get that golden appointment and I felt that late on a Friday afternoon Mr Jain had just about had his fill of hips. The appointment ended with him saying that he hoped I was not expecting to be transported back fifteen years after the op, for a moment It passed my mind that he thought I was in for a face lift. It would have been much better to have said the operation would at least take some of the awful pain away. So my heckles did just rise a bit. He also made some reference at my post op consultation about an old engine with a new part, the old engine being my body and the new part the hip replacement I suppose, a remark not helpful in any way shape or form. Having said all that I am fine fit and healthy and well on my way to a fantastic recovery. Thank you very much to the the dear doctor and all of the staff at Medway and also the physio dept at sheppey hospital. A big thank you to you all.

Mr Rohit Jain is truly an expert in his field with a total dedication to the wellbeing of his patient both before and after surgery and from the moment you meet him he fills you with confidence. The Alexandra Hospital staff and nurses were attentive at all times and could not have been more helpful. I would recommend anyone contemplating Hip surgery to avail themselves of the services at the hospital where they will be expertly cared for.

This is the 2nd time I’ve used mr Jain and I didn’t hesitate in picking him when I needed to see a consultant about my knee again , he’s polite he explains things clearly and he listens to what you have to say and his work is top class . Hope I don’t need to see him again for some time but when I do I’ll definitely be choosing him again
