Doctor Jain takes great pains to explain facts in a manner that I could readily understand. The procedure and the associated risks were explained in detail and all my questions were answered in depth. He has an open and friendly manner which put me at my ease and enabled me to feel I was engaging and contributing to the overall process. He explained the various stages of the programme and what I should expect at each one and how my progress would be evaluated. His "bedside manner" was second to none and when I was in the hospital he came to see me both before and after my procedure to reassure me that all had gone well. He also checked with the hospital that all my requirements were being met and he engaged a first class anaesthetist as I had a artificial heart valve that meant I had special requirements. Doctor Jain's attitude, approach and clinical method were in the very outstanding category, I have total confidence in his judgement and professional skill which are of the highest order and I would be happy to recommend him to anyone seeking relief from the pain of a hip problem.

Mr Jain replaced my left knee. I left hospital the next day, and, six weeks later I can walk over a mile, almost pain free, and without walking aids. Mr Jain treated me with kindness, consideration and encouragement at all times, and I cannot recommend him too highly. Thank you.

Mr Jain replaced both my hips, 18 months apart. Once he had replaced my first one, I knew he was the consultant for me. He was attentive, kind, knowledgeable and a complete professional. A real gentleman! I would highly recommend this wonderful surgeon. Margaret Gillingham, Kent

Excellent treatment and care from the initial consultation. Surgery through to discharge I received excellent care from Mr Jain, nursing staff, and physio. I can wholeheartedly recommend Mr Jain, his knowledge, understanding and forthright explanation of procedures and expected outcomes gives the patient confidence. My recovery was particularly good (according to Sarah, the physio) and I think that may be due to me starting the exercises well before the surgery.

Mr Jain was a fantastic consultant. Attentive and knowledgeable - I was 100% confident in his assessment of my situation and recommendations. My whole experience has been fantastic and the healing post-surgery has been quick. I’m delighted with the outcome. I have already recommended Mr Jain to a colleague. He is great.
