He couldn't be more caring, he explained every aspect of my operation & even gave me the choice of operation I needed ( there was three different ways of having it done ) & his aftercare was second to none, he was always friendly & reasuring,& now after 3 months I can go back to work

Mr Mathew explained everything I was having done down to the last detail ,he was friendly &scaring & very reassuring I would recommend him to anyone having hand surgery.

I was referred to Dr Mathew for arthroscopic surgery from a neighbouring hospital for a wrist complaint. I was seen by one of his team who wasn't satisfied with this diagnosis so I was sent for further tests. Once my complaint was clarified I was able to have a less invasive treatment today that was uncomfortable to say the least but Dr Mathew who was treating me was the most caring, gentle and informative Doctor that I have had the pleasure to meet. He is skilled and dedicated to his patients, we ran into a few problems during the treatment due to my arthritis but he wouldn't give up as long as I confirmed that I could continue with the situation. He seems so young but so impressive with his knowledge and his patient care, I could have been operated on with negative results and scar tissue if it wasn't for Dr Mathew. I have met quite a few consultants due to bone/arthritis ailments but I was
very impressed and thankful today for meeting Dr Mathew.

Since the day I met Mr. Matthews till the day he last saw me, I never felt that I am un-safe hands. A very pleasant and polite personality yet always straight forward too in terms of explaining all the options for my hand injury. Always willing to answer as many questions as I have and also helpful in making all appointments etc. I always felt that by following his instruction I am getting better every moment of my life since I have this injury. I simply say "THANK YOU" to Mr. Mathews and will strongly recommend him someone need assistance.

My son Harry had a very difficult time when he broke his little finger in a rugby accident. Mr Mathew finally took over his care and we were then confident that the outcome would be good. he was extremely professional at all times and included Harry in all the decisions about his treatment. His manner with his patients is outstanding,very caring and considerate and always listened to us and our concerns.
I would thoroughly recommend Mr Mathew as a kind and considerate clinician with excellent communication and clinical skills.
