I was first diagnosed with Osteoarthritis in both hips in 2009. At the time I turned down the choice of having my right hip replaced. I turned this down as I felt I was too young and the pain and discomfort wasn't bad enough. My hips continued to deteriorate over the years until I could take the pain no more. I was really fearful as I'd never had an operation or stayed in Hospital before. In September 2022, Mr Chowdhry replaced my right hip and in September 2023 he replaced my left hip. I am absolutely bowled over by how much difference these replacements have made to my life. Mr Chowdhry has a very gentle, calming & reassuring way about him, and I completely trusted him. He explained everything he was going to do and based on my preferred lifestyle, the type of replacements he was going to give me. I can't believe how smoothly the whole experience went, and I would recommend him to anyone and everyone who needs a hip replacement and wants to get back to living an active life. It's hard to find the right words to explain the difference he has made to my life. Absolutely wonderful and why did I wait so long!

I am very pleased with the outcome of my surgery. Mr Chowdhry visited me after the procedure and took time to explain how a TKR is achieved. During my follow-up appointment he explained the x-rays and checked my progress by observing the knee. He made sure I understood the important point that it is critical to maximise the bend in the knee. He took time to give explanations but also to listen to me. I had questions regarding the anaesthetic and Mr Chowdhry discussed my observations. He then checked the notes and quickly examined my spine. I came away reassured. Thank you Mr Chowdhry.

Mr Chowdry performed a thorough diagnostic process. He explained my condition and the treatment options well to me. The treatment I received before, during and after the surgery was excellent! A great surgeon yields great results. I was walking without any aids within 3 weeks of the total knee replacement surgery performed by Mr Chowdry and am pain free in comparison to the level of pain I endured prior to diagnosis and surgery. The surgery and care from Mr Chowdry have been life changing. I would highly recommend Mr Chowdry.
