Mr Gibbs has done a brilliant job with my hip replacement. From the minute he saw the x-ray and advised I needed a total hip replacement to my 6 week discharge he has been most professional, caring and sympathetic. I felt completely at ease with him and in extremely capable hands. I would have no hesitation in recommending him.

I would highly recommend Mr James Gibbs to anyone who is looking for a Consultant skilled in repairing a Meniscus tear.He really is one of the best in his field. He is supportive ,professional and obviously extremely knowledgeable in his field of work. Mr Gibbs and his team work well together and I was always treated with kindness and respect, from my initial consultation through to my post op check up. I am now 3 weeks post-op and my meniscus repair operation has been a success. I cannot recommend Mr James Gibbs highly enough .

I had a knee arthroscopy and throughout the whole process I found Mr Gibbs a brilliant consultant. He gave generously of his time and made me feel engaged and confident of a positive outcome. He is surrounded by an excellent team with the same ethos and desire to make the entire process as comfortable and smooth as possible. Three weeks on and I am pain free and much improved from pre-op, going from strength. I would not hesitate to recommend Mr Gibbs and would ensure that any further treatments I might need are referred to him.

I was recommended to Mr. Gibbs by my Physiotherapist after a disastrous knee replacement at the hands of another surgeon had left me with very little bend in my knee. I could not sit in a chair without my leg sticking out in front of me, and I was unable to walk. From the beginning when I told Mr Gibbs my story he was so empathic and understanding, and he said he could help me. I had a Revision Knee Replacement last November, and an MUA in April under the care of Mr Gibbs and his team. One thing I noticed was how his team all work well together, respect him, and work as a unit. I also learned as I was recovering from my surgery of his charity work. This says everything about the character of this man. I am now discharged from his care, and I have a bend in my knee, and a chance of normal life. I still have a lot of physiotherapy ahead as I have very weak muscles after two and a half years of a non functioning knee, but there is now light at the end of the tunnel. I would recommend anyone who needs knee surgery going with Mr Gibbs. He is simply the best.

Mr. Gibbs and his team treated me with respect and care throughout my knee replacement surgery. I am now at six weeks post operation and back to doing everything I could do before and some, less the pain. I would trust this Doctor totally.
