Mr Chowdrhy was an amazing surgeon and had a great team - he was not only approachable but also took the time to listen. This was my second knee replacement and the recovery has been amazing and totally life changing for me. I could not recommend him highly enough and feel very lucky to have been on his list for surgery.

From the initial meeting with Mr Majid Chowdhry, he listened to what I had to say and recognised the amount of pain I was in. We discussed in great detail my options, he laid out all the options available to me and gave me choices. He is very easy to talk to and approachable and he gave no reason for me not to put my absolute trust in him. I asked him exactly how do they replace the hip and he took the time to explain exactly what they do and what they use etc. When it came to the day of my right hip operation, he spent time explaining what was going to happen, how long everything was going to take, I was feeling nervous and he put me at total ease. I have recovered and healed so well from the operation, I haven’t had any issues, the scar is very neat and I can’t say how happy I am. When I went for my 6 week consultation, he was very happy with how I was walking, unaided. I explained how amazing it was to wake up in the morning with no pain in my right side and I forgot to tell him that I can now put my knee flat after 2 years, my leg is straight. He has absolutely changed my life. I had litiarally got to a stage where some days I felt I could barely walk and now I feel I could run! We discussed my left hip which I have always said was nothing as bad as the right and again he gave me options, choices and made it clear it was my choice, what I wanted and I made the decision to try a steroid injection in the left and we both agreed this is the next step, he raised the paperwork straight away and this will be done shortly. I would absolutely 100% recommend Mr Chowdhry. I am so grateful and happy.

Mr Chowdhury was very professional and I felt confident after my consultation that my surgery for partial knee replacement was the correct path to get pain free. The procedure went very well and I recovered very quickly with minimal pain and a short hospital stay. I was very happy. I am due to have my other knee partially replaced and I will be happy for Mr Chowdhury to take charge of this procedure again.
