I saw Mr.Wasson at the Chaucer Hospital, Canterbury and found him to be extremely personable, approachable and professional I was nervous but he put me at ease and I have complete confidence in his knowledge and ability. I would not hesitate to recommend him to others.

I saw Mr Wasson at One Ashford Hospital where he inserted a triune tube in my left ear. He was friendly and had a nice relaxed but professional attitude. While carrying out the procedure he explained what he was doing and always asked if I was ok. I never felt rushed at any time before or after the procedure. I would definitely recommend Mr Wasson.

Very friendly Doctor who put me at ease and listened to what I had to say as well as explaining what he was doing and what he thought.

Mr Wasson is clearly highly knowledgeable and an expert in his field. I had researched carefully before selecting him despite his ‘relatively low online profile.’ Mr Wasson questions very carefully and considers each answer thoughtfully as part of his examination! He then explains his diagnosis clearly and succinctly. I really cannot recommend Mr Wasson highly enough. Charles Joseph

My experience with Mr. Wasson's team has been exemplary. All the staff are polite, helpful, and eager to help. Couldn't have had a better appointment.

Mr Wasson has been the only person (out of many) I have visited who has helped me with my debilitating condition and enabled me to lead a relatively normal life. He takes time to listen and thinks ‘out of the box’ of ways to help me. His secretary has also been very efficient and helpful. Cannot recommend Mr Wasson highly enough.

I had been seeing another Dr for 19 years but sadly he retired. I chose Mr Wasson and was very impressed with his listening and his explaining the procedure I was really nervous but I will see him on a yearly basis now. Would absolutely recommend. Secretary Alison was really nice and helpful

My surgery with Mr Wasson took place during the COVID pandemic in 2021. I had been slightly nervous therefore because we hadn't actually met before the day of the stapedectomy surgery on my right ear. I had also had a very good operation done previously on my left ear by his colleague Ms Neumann.. and was thinking that it would be good to repeat the experience with the same surgeon on the second ear. However when we did meet, Mr Wasson immediately put me at ease. He explained the risks clearly but also gave me confidence that everything was going to turn out OK - much as it had done on the left ear. Every bit as professional and thorough as Ms Neumann. When I came round after surgery, he came to see me (when I was still fairly groggy) and reported that he thought that things had gone very well. Things had indeed gone well. For the first time in quite a while I noticed that I could hear distant bird-song and children playing. I wasn't having to strain to hear the mumbles of disgruntled children and tired older people. When I finally went for the 6 month check, we discovered that there had been a 40 db improvement across all frequencies. I'm not sure that stapedectomies are that common so it's difficult to ask friends about them in order to make the decision 'shall I go ahead or not'? Few know the bother of hearing aids and how deafness can impact on your life by making you feel cut-off and isolated (even if the hearing aids work well, there is always the thought that you might be missing something.) Making the decision is therefore difficult. It's a personal choice. But I'm very relieved that I went ahead. And I cannot recommend Mr Wasson and Ms Neumann highly enough. Thank you.
