This consultant at the west Middlesex hospital is not only a terrific doctor who actually showed an interest in and listened to me, an elderly patient with my continual arthritis maladies but he is patient - orientated and he is a very nice human being! Unlike a lot of G.P's I have found and a number of consultants in as many hospitals doctors tend to see themselves, I think, as 'Dr God' and can make a patient feel very inferior. They like to be listened to not to listen. This man is the tops. His patients are very lucky. I never dread my appointments with him unlike some others I have seen. Thankyou, Mr Imbuldeniya!

I am a 53yr old professional dancer, I received a total hip replacement in January 2016 by this surgeon & I must say before having or deciding to have this operation I was very nervous & 50/50 about having it done. But when I first met Mr Imbuldeniya I felt at ease immediately as his body language & welcoming approach was very carming. His experience & confidence to doing this operation gave me no doubts I was in good hands even to the point of having no nerves at all on the day of the operation, which by the way was over before I could blink. He did listen to my lifestyle & suggested the best option of hip replacement to suit my needs which I agreed with. The operation was a complete success I am now back on my dancing feet & also back at my local gym 4 times a week. Thank you & all the staff involved in my care.

Excellent explanation of diagnosis and surgery. Talked me through the X-rays. Basic simple vocabulary did not use medical jargon. Very down to earth and friendly manner. Made me feel comfortable and gave opportunities to ask any questions. Looked at myself and my case as an individual rather than a number and operated on my hip accordingly. If my second hip needs doing i want Mr Imbuldeniya again!

Dr Imbuldeniya presents himself as a friendly, approachable and a very knowledgeable Dr. He involved me in all the application and decision making process before he carried out my THR uncemented on my right side. Dr Imbuldeniya and his team made me feel at ease throughout the whole process. He came to see me in the ward the day after the operation, again enthusiastically informing me what type of hip replacement he had put in and why. He invited my wife into his surgery to explain the processes as he understands and appreciates that family members need to know what's going to happen and provide the immediate support as required. Dr I cannot thank you enough, not only has my pain gone away, it's great to meet so some one with your enthusiasm and professionalism representing our great service which is the NHS.
