Dear Mark, Thank you for your professional, thorough and friendly treatment. Your advice and great work has saved me from prolonged pain and allowed me to operate in life again normally. I am very grateful and highly recommend your service. Kind regards, Claire

Mr Phillips recommended surgery due to the significant nodule formation in my hand. The surgery was for Dupuytren's fasciectomy. Throughout the day, all staff from the anaesthetist to Mr Phillips were fabulous. Whilst a relatively minor operation, I was still anxious. I had a regional block so was awake throughout and the comfort and consideration shown to me was truly first class. To anyone who is not 100% sure as to having this done or simply needs a top consultant, Mr Phillips is one such man.

Have just finished treatment with Mr Phillips and his physiotherapist contact Pryia. A big thank you to both for a very professional and friendly experience. Mr Phillips explains things fully without "talking-down" to you (despite the long Latin names!), takes the time to listen to your concerns, and his follow up letters are very informative and mirror your conversation at the appointments. He makes the point of recommending and referring you to the colleagues he wishes to carry out the treatment, which gives you as the patient a great deal of confidence - not only in his own assessment ability but also his knowledge of the strengths of those he works with. Although not wishing to have the same problem return, I would be very happy to be referred back to Mr Phillips for any further hand/wrist problems.

Mr Phillips was recommended to me by my Physiotherapist and I could not have met a kinder more amiable and experienced wrist surgeon. I liked him immediately and after I explained my lifestyle and symptoms he was quick to reassure me that my wrist issue is extremely common amongst the demographic that I fall into, he sees this kind of problem all the time in his patients and that it could be easily addressed. I had previously seen another surgeon who's manner was altogether rather disconcerting and non-reassuring and who couldn't find anything specifically wrong with my wrist despite the pain I was in, so seeing Mr Phillips was to my great relief. I wish I had seen him in the first place! I had quite a few questions about my wrist, where the pain was, what was going on inside the joint and he kindly and clearly explained everything to me that I needed to know in a way that was easy to understand. He is clearly extremely experienced which was reassuring. He was able to administer a fairly painless steroid injection on the day of my consultation which was easy to do and meant I didn't have to come back on another day, particularly as the pain had been rather acute at that point. I would just have to come back to see him after one month had passed. I hope to not have to visit him again and that my wrist is cured, but if I did have any problems in the future, he would be the first person I would visit. Thank you so much.
