Very professional, made me feel at ease and explained everything in a way it was easy understand, doctor was very friendly and easy to talk with
Was lucky enough to be booked into the Sloane for a day treatment .. I found staff to be so lovely from the lady at reception to the lady that bought me a sandwich and a coffee ..
Special mention to my nurses Alison & Janet who were wonderful and to my guardian angel Patsy who held my hand until I fell asleep and hugged me when I left …. I felt safe, understood and cared for ! Thank you all for all you do - you really are unsung heroes.. xxxx
Hospital was very clean, very friendly nurses, my short stay was excellent
Dry professional service.
The lady on the ground floor, was welcoming and advised me to go up the stairs to the next receptionist, which I did. I wasn't waiting long and the lady at reception was very welcoming and asked me to complete my questionnaire and hand back when I had completed it. I was met with a smile and the lady was really pleasant to me.
Think carefully before going here. I went in for a simple procedure - a hysteroscopy - to get an endometrium biopsy (to rule out cancer) and, if they found a polyp, have that removed. When I came to, I had had a laparoscopy which is major surgery. I was very groggy when the Registrar came to speak to me about what had happened. I barely remember it. The nurse (who was lovely) told me that the Registrar was going to call me the next day to let me know what had happened and why I had gone under GA for a simple procedure and woke with major surgery. She didn't call. Over a week later, I called and she told me that she had been too busy to call me. I asked her for the results of my biopsy and she told me that she would chase them and get back to me that evening. After several days, she hadn't contacted me so I contacted her again and she told me that they didn't get the biopsy because I was bleeding too heavily. I have requested to speak to the consultant several times and he has not contacted me. I have spoken to the ward manager who told me she did not have the details. I resorted to trying to call their Marketing department out of desperation to see if they would help me. I left a voicemail and no response. It is now 3 weeks and 2 days since I had major surgery and nobody will give me the details. I am resorting to writing reviews in the hope that somebody in the Sloane will see this and call me because I am terrified. I still don't know if I have cancer and I don't know what they did to my body while I was under GA.
I only had a consultation at the hospital, but it was very clean and the staff were very professional and friendly.
I had a really pleasant experience while attending this hospital over the past few months. Every single person I have come into contact with has gone above and beyond. After having such a bad experience in other hospitals this has been a breath of fresh air and I really would like to thank The Sloane for there amazing duty of care. Even on the day of my surgery, I had different nurses, doctors & surgeons coming to check on me and explain there part in what was going to happen, it really put me at ease and I came away from the surgery just feeling so grateful to all the amazing people that helped me to get better.
Highly recommend the Sloane, everyone from the nurses, doctors and cleaners are very friendly and professional and made my stay at the Sloane that little bit easier
