I underwent surgery on my disc at the end of July. What an amazing team, you couldn't fault the care. It was great that you were encouraged to be mobile as quickly as possible after surgery as I know from surgery many years ago the longer you leave it the harder it is to get out of bed. I was out of bed less than 6 hours after surgery. The team were so supportive and you felt reassured throughout, right from the nurses, physios, anaesthetists through to the surgeon everyone was brilliant. Please pass on my thanks!

I underwent surgery for a total hip replacement at Blackheath Hospital in March 2023 and had an overnight stay. I cannot fault the staff or the facilities, all of which were excellent (the relocation of the consulting rooms into the main hospital is a huge improvement).

The care and treatment has been fantastic. The Hospital is clean and very pleasant. The staff have all been extremely helpful and kind. The surgeon for my operation, Mr Punwar, has made sure the operation has been a complete success and entire procedure surrounding it has been smooth throughout. I would recommend this hospital without hesitation. Thanks to all involved at Blackheath Hospital, Joe

I was in the hospital for 3 nights for a total knee replacement, as an NHS patient. I received an outstanding level of care and after care both during and after surgery. I was contacted at home to check that my recovery was proceeding as it should. If I need care in the future and have to use private medicine, the Blackheath hospital will be my venue of choice.

My whole experience at BMI was simply outstanding from my time I’m hospital to my follow up appointments for MR Kumar and physio therapy

Apart from 2 of the nurses, one of whom tried to give me the wrong dose of one of my meds, and the one who rushed me out of hospital despite me not having been to the loo, the rest were so caring, always apologising when they had to give me medication, they couldn’t do enough. The physio told me that he’d email exercises to me, but he didn’t.
