My first ever screening mammogram resulted in the dreaded follow up letter. Having had follow up biopsies I had to make the most difficult decision - who would I trust with carrying out my surgery? If it wasn't for my breast screening nurse, I would never had known about Sascha. Her biography speaks for itself - she is a totally dedicated specialist; highly recognised in both research and clinical environments. My first appointment with her was surreal and unexpected - a doctor that was so down to earth, listened attentively and put me at the centre of decision making. She was so reassuring, confident and professional.. with an amazing sense of humour. Being able to laugh and be positive at times of most stress and anxiety is the best tonic ever. Sascha personally phoned me with updates on my planned surgery. When the dreaded day arrived she took time with me both before and after the surgery. Her surgery skills are fantastic, as she know the impact on self esteem and confidence in respect of scars. Like most patients in Sascha's specialism - the days of waiting for pathology results seem to last forever. As soon as I walked into her consultation room she explained the outcome and the next steps. She was so genuinely happy and relieved for me and my husband. If we could 'bottle' Saschas expertise and personal qualities and sprinkle it across the health sector - it would make such a positive impact on so many peoples lives. I do hope that she takes some time out of her hectic schedule to influence the new generation of medics. SL

I couldn't have wished for better treatment! Sascha achieves a great empathy with her patients and their families and explains the diagnosis, treatment options and prognosis clearly and honestly. She is not only compassionate, sensitive, warm and caring but also totally professional at all times. When she heard that we had planned a special holiday she did her very best to arrange surgery and radiotherapy as quickly as possible so that we would still be able to go. I can't thank her enough for her care.

I have been looked after by Sascha since October 2015 and found her to be the most caring and compassionate consultant. Throughout the whole process from the first consultation, diagnosis and surgery I have felt in incredibly safe hands. Sasha's approach is sympathetic and caring but always professional. She is kind, and has an amazing ability to anticipate any worries and concerns and ensure she resolves them. She also has a great sense of humour- considering the nature of the work she does there is always a ripple of laughter coming from her room! Although on a personal level it has been a very difficult time, Sasha has not only looked after me but also my husband and family which is incredibly important. She has gone above and beyond pure medical care by ensuring I have support from the breast care nurses (who have also been amazing) and other patients who have had a similar operation. I feel very lucky to be one of her patients - I could not recommend her more highly. Thank you Sascha - you truly are a life saver!

I first met Sascha in August 2016 when my 82 year old Mother was diagnosed with Breast Cancer in both breasts. Sascha was amazing with my mum and her surgery has been plain sailing. In October 2016 I had a routine mamogram and was a little surprised to get a letter asking me to attend the Breast Clinic at Broomfield. Once again I met Sascha, her empathy was so reassuring to me and I knew I was in safe hands. She has wonderful surgical credentials, but what she also has is a gift which cannot be learnt or taught and that is a genuine care for her patients. She has given me an opportunity to continue with life, used her skill to leave me with the breasts I've grown to love over the years. I cannot thank her and her team of Breast Nurses enough. She's the kind of woman you would love as a friend, but is totally professional in all that she does. I was diagnosed on the 18th October and within a month I'd had my operation and am well on the way to full recovery. What more can you ask for in the screening process, diagnosis, operation and care all in a month.

I found Miss. Sascha Dua very knowledgeable and friendly while I was a patient under her wing. Miss Dua was very thorough and very supportive to all my needs and gave me all her support that I required. I would definitely have no hesitation in recommending her trust. Rosemary Simpson
