I wouldn’t hesitate in recommending Sascha Dua - having received a shock diagnosis of breast cancer she helped take the fear away with her straight-forward ‘we got this’ attitude. She was empathetic, kind and I felt understood. Having had my surgery my only disappointment is that I’m no longer under her care. Her and the team at Broomfield have and continue to be amazing.

Miss Dua is everything you need when given a breast cancer diagnosis. She explains all in detail so you understand the treatment plan and answers any questions you may have, allaying fears and anxieties. I could not have asked to have been in the care of a kinder and more supportive surgeon.

As a local NHS and private GP I’ve been very happily referring patients to Miss Dua for over 10years and loved hearing how wonderful she was from them- I did not however get to realise the extent of her incredible compassion and the importance of this in a breast surgeon until I unfortunately needed her professionally myself this year. Nothing was too much trouble/ she listened/she cared/ she had knowledge at her fingertips/ she anticipated what you you would need to know and advised in advice - her surgical skills are incredible which has made recovery so much easier ! She is a throughly incredible person and surgeon at the same time - not easy at all. I am so grateful to her and her team for looking after me so beautifully as it makes all the difference short and long term. Do not hesitate for one second if you are in need of a breast surgeon - with Miss Dua you will be in the care of the best possible hands and heart and at difficult times this makes the world of difference.

Sascha has been very knowledgeable, understanding and compassionate throughout my treatments with her. I am in recovery now and her kindness (and fun side) will stay with me forever. The Cancer surgery has been a complete success and to be able to keep both breasts has been wonderful. She's been clear and given me the facts with outstanding care. I could not have wished for more and I have full trust in her abilities. You will be privileged to deal with her, should you be in need of the treatments she provides.

From the initial diagnosis of my breast cancer to the actual surgery, the whole process was quick and dealt with compassionately and with great professionalism by Sascha and her team. Every stage was explained in a way that you could understand (and with a sense of humour, which was needed!). Sascha made the whole journey much easier and gave me the ability to cope with it all. Thank you.
