I am very happy to tell of my experience being a patient of Miss Rachel Holt. I was originally scheduled to have a bilateral Tram/Diep Flap reconstruction surgery with another Plastic Surgeon but with an overload of patients I was transferred over to the care of Rachel. I had waited 4 years for this surgery and was more nervous than you could ever imagine having been clearly informed of the magnitude of the surgery. I had waited all that time thinking I would chicken out at the last minute and not go through with it. Well all of that changed when I had a call to say I now had a new surgeon Rachel Holt and would I be prepared to attend an appointment the next week I was fearful very nervous absolutely dreading it. Then on the day she entered the room like Mary Poppins a huge smile full of energy she looks like she’s about to burst into song, just so full of oomph and life. She went through all of the details thouroughly and then examined me just grabbed hold of my tummy pulling into the shape she thought would suit and declared yes easy. She put me at ease instantly everything just seems to come naturally to her simply a piece of cake. I asked to see photos of other ladies she had performed surgery on before me and was so impressed with all her ladies having lovely shaped equally sized boobs, yes I said like perfectly rounded bowls of cornflakes ! Within 10 minutes I was trusting this lady with my body shape and my life. That was the best decision I have ever made. I had a bilateral diep flap reconstruction surgery in February without any pain up and about the next day home within 4 days. It’s now July and this lady has given me my life back. I now look like my old self in shape and size Rachel gave me a lovely double d set of cornflake bowl boobs. Nobody would ever know you can’t see any of the scars wearing a bikini/underwear. I have my confidence back I no longer slump over but walk tall and proud. Rachel has been lovely before during and after surgery I go back to see her today to see about nipple tattoos the icing on the cake. I really admire trust and recommend Rachel Holt to everyone looking for a Surgeon they can trust.

Total inclusion, involvement and discussion. Gabapentin medication was fantastic, no pain and was able to move about sooner than other patients who were not on it ,it appeared. Rachel was very approachable and I felt safe and listened to.

Miss Holt (Rachel) is an outstanding surgical doctor , specialising in breast reconstruction and plastic surgery etc . My treatment from being diagnosed at Bolton, and then transferred to Miss Holt made it so much easier to keep a positive outlook after a traumatic diagnosis. Rachel and her team have guided me through my treatment at all times, giving me all the information in a very professional yet compassionate manner that I needed . I was given every different option possible before and after treatment, and gave both myself and my husband all her time and patience, making us feel confident I could get through the treatment with a positive outlook for the future. I can only thank everyone involved with all my heart and would without hesitation recommend having treatment with Miss Rachel Holt and her excellent team to anyone who asked me. ❤️

I am delighted to recommend Rachel as a very skilled, considerate and approachable surgeon. Rachel performed my DIEP Flap Breast Reconstruction in January 2019, just over three years after my mastectomy. Rachel's warm, communicative style ensured that I was clear about all aspects of the procedure and her openness allowed me to confidently discuss my concerns as well as my aspirations. Having had very large breasts for most of my life, I wanted to feel confident that my breast reconstruction - and subsequent lift to my unaffected breast - would finally give me a shape that was comfortable and attractive. Rachel's expertise has ensured that my surgery has been efficient with a quick recovery and fantastic results. My scars are extremely neat, sympathetically positioned and healing well.
